Link a Domain Hosted on Cloudflare

Step 1. Log in to Cloudflare

Select the domain you would like to update.

Step 2. Select "DNS"

Click DNS > Add record.

Step 3. Add three CNAME records

• CNAME

Name: subdomain

Type: CNAME

Target: Your complete custom domain
Proxy status: DNS only 

＊This is an example, please key in your domain info when you setup

For example, my domain name is [ www.thetravelstore.com.my ], CNAME record will be as per below:

Name: www

Type: CNAME

Target: thetravelstore.cyberbiz.co

Proxy status: DNS only 

• CNAME 

Name: root domain

Type: CNAME

Target: subdomain

Proxy status: Proxied 

Note: Required for Forwarding

For example, my domain name is [ www.thetravelstore.com.my ], CNAME record will be as per below:

Name: @

Type: CNAME

Target: thetravelstore.cyberbiz.co

Proxy status: Proxied 

Step 4. Create a New Page Rule

Select [Rules > Page Rules] and click Create Page Rule.

URL: root domain

Then the settings are

Pick a Setting: Forwarding URL

Select status code: 301 - Permanent Redirect

Enter destination URL: https://subdomain

Note: please enter「https://」in Enter destination URL.

For example, my domain name is [ www.thetravelstore.com.my ], Page Rules will be as per below:

URL: thetravelstore.com.my

Then the settings are

Pick a Setting: Forwarding URL

Select status code: 301 - Permanent Redirect

Enter destination URL: https://www.thetravelstore.com.my
